Rain City Drive Announce Deluxe Edition Of Their Self-Titled Album, Share "Blood Runs Cold (Reimagined)"
Hailing from Palm Coast, FL – Rain City Drive are sharing the deluxe release of Rain City Drive due out June 23. Alongside this announcement comes a reimagined version of their fan-favorite single "Blood Runs Cold." The deluxe edition features 6 reimagined tracks from the bands discography including the hit single "Talk To A Friend" off of their critically acclaimed 2021 album To Better Days and highlight respected single, "Cutting It Close."
"Blood Runs Cold (Reimagined)" contrasts against the song's original hard-hitting rock anthem form that has racked up over 10 million streams since its release last year. This new take hones in on the tranquility of an acoustic atmosphere that's wrapped in an intoxicating ambient soundscape. The song's lyrics are equally powerful, exploring themes of love, loss, and the struggle to hold on in the face of adversity. "Blood Runs Cold (Reimagined)" highlights Rain City Drive's versatility and the ability to push boundaries outside of their familiar composition.
"Blood Runs Cold is about not being able to walk away from someone because your connection is so strong that they feel like a part of you." Says lead vocalist Matt McAndrew.
"We had a lot of fun rearranging "Blood Runs Cold" for the deluxe album. The five of us enjoy listening to and performing a wide variety of genres and we’re looking forward to showing the fans a different side of our sound." Says McAndrew about the reimagined track.
