Not Enough Space Signs to Thriller Records and Unveils New Single "Primitive"
Orlando, Florida-based group Not Enough Space has officially signed with Thriller Records, taking their music career into a new light. With this announcement, the band is thrilled to share their newest single, "Primitive," accompanied by a music video. Available on October 25th via Thriller Records, this new track explores the theme of a false sense of hope in the toxicity of relationships.
On the new release, Not Enough Space shares their excitement:
“We are excited to announce that we are dropping our newest single ‘Primitive’! We have worked so hard on this song and hope that you all enjoy it! This is our first single in a year and we have a lot of amazing things coming behind the scenes that we can’t wait to share with you!! Thank you all so much for the love and support!! See you soon!!”
"Primitive" delves deep into the painful realities of being trapped in a toxic relationship, where both partners feel unable to leave, clinging to memories and false hope. The themes of the song expose a cycle of suffering and attachment, capturing the emotional turmoil of staying in a relationship that is long past its breaking point.
Not only does the song dive into deep emotional territory, but it also breaks boundaries sonically. A standout moment in the track has already earned it the label “moan core,” a nod to the bold choices made by the band that further cements their reputation for pushing the limits of modern metalcore.
Vocalist Lizzie shares, “'Primitive' is about feeling trapped in a toxic relationship with a significant other. Both parties feel that they cannot leave because they’re holding onto memories and their false sense of hope that maybe one day things will get better.”
