The track speaks to the comfort in it being the right decision, a conversation with someone you were close to, honing in on the push and pull and inner struggle of knowing you’re not right for each other. “Cool Blue” is about living too fast, knowing you are going to struggle without them, but accepting it’s what you have to do."
