happydaze Shares New Music Video For Addictive New Song
Edinburgh, Scotland based 4 piece rock band, happydaze, are sharing their glistening new single, "Piece Of Me." "Piece Of Me" is a follow-up release to "Been and Gone" and acts as a companion piece to happydaze's recently released EP, Full Free Radical.
"Piece Of Me" embodies a relaxing melody with a rock punch to it. The track ascends gracefully, showcasing happydaze's ability to great and addicting sound. The song's visual compliments the overall all brisk aura of "Piece Of Me."
"Piece of Me" was a demo from 2020 right at the start of lockdown. I wrote the first verse and chorus over zoom with Pete with an acoustic guitar and a beat loop, then backed and forth the logic session with Sam from Neck Deep for a few weeks until it became one of our favorite songs. This song was intended to be on both our last records but we couldn’t quite finish the production off the way we wanted it. We went back to Treehouse with Jim and he stripped everything back and made the song what it is now. Some of my favorite lyrics and guitar parts are in this song, I’m so stoked to finally release it. Says lead vocalist Luke Bovill about the new song.
happydaze have recently been featured as Next Wave Artist on Jack Saunders' Future Artists (Radio 1.) The band has gained notable support since release of previous singles “Cool Blue,” "Faded," “(Full Free) Radical” and “Heaven You Felt.” With further coverage on Radio 1 alongside outlets such as idobi Radio, Kerrang! and Rock Sound, they continue to garner attention from new listeners and skyrocket their fanbase.
